Research collaboration for MetisLab

UTSEUS established on July 13, 2021 an agreement with SHU's Faculty of Mechatronics and Automatic Engineering to collaborate in the IRP MetisLab - Medical Engineering and Theory in Imaging and Signal Laboratory -, an international Franco-Chinese research project on the theme of "Modeling and Processing of Images and Signal for Health", labeled by CNRS, the main French research organization.

In the presence of SHU's vice president, Ms. GONG Siyi, the director of UTSEUS - Mr. LIU Wanyu, the originator of MetisLab - and the leaders of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Automatic Engineering agreed to put common resources - researchers and students, research spaces - to contribute to MetisLab's research themes.

Since its creation in 2014, MetisLab has led to the completion of 7 PhD theses, 16 publications in refereed journals ("SCI") and participation in 13 conferences, as well as the filing of 4 patents.

Let's recall that UTSEUS and the Faculty of Mechatronics and Automatic Engineering are committed in the SHU UTSEUS Master's program, whose first class will be opened in early September 2021.
